An intriguing blend of Arneis, Cortese, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. It is bright, textural and smashable. From vineyards across the Adelaide Hills including Basket Range and Piccadilly. The grapes are hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed to stainless steel and a bit of neutral barrique where co-fermentation kicked off naturally. The wine rests on full solids with a bit of stirring for six months. It is then racked gently to tank off of the lees where it settles naturally and bottled without fining or filtration.
A curious conjoining of arneis with splashes of cortese, sauvignon blanc and chardonnay from Adelaide Hills vines. Fragrant, pretty white wine of cucumber and tonic scents, similar flavours, and a delicate, pure, scintillating feel. Easy to like, easy to drink. Summery fun. A simple wine despite the collection of grapes, but with such great appeal.
